The theme of this work is life itself. It was created in November 2017 and starts from the position that all of life is a continual battle with ourselves and the environments in which we live.

The inspiration came from twins in Russia who were born with fused bodies and their experience seemed to represent the battles we all face in life. Furthermore, the line drawings of Egon Schielle were analysed as were the colour transitions in the fireworks created by Cai Guo-Qiang.
